Dan and Toni Onsite Wedding Video
The Story Behind this Video
I was told that we will be having an onsite video at Manila so I was a bit excited with the new experience in another place. The couple just didn’t give any song that we will use in the video so we’re thinking we just have to choose ourselves. We then chose three songs and it’s up to them to select one from those three.
The day before the wedding, I then prepare all those three songs in the timeline of Adobe Premiere CS5. The Lenovo i7 laptop that I’m using right now is really great! My past onsite editing were really smooth even in HD mode.
Five o’clock came immediately and we then packed up and rode the van and went down to Manila. We were accommodated in an awesome house and I really had a nice sleep. Those food they served us are really great too!
In the morning of the wedding day, we just spent our times chatting and watching TV. I guess my Premiere project is already prepared and I’m excited to edit already.
They finally told that we’ll go now and we went then to Acacia hotel where the preparation is going on. While preparing the laptop and launching the Adobe Premiere, Kuya Elon just told me that the bride just gave a song that we have to use for the video. All the three songs I prepared are then of no use now. On top of that, I have to rushly prepare the timeline markers for the new song. The bad news is, we don’t have the song the bride told us to use. It’s a good thing Acacia hotel has a Wifi connection and I’m amazed with its speed. I downloaded the song right away and prepared the timeline. RUSH. DONE… I was able to breath better when it was prepared and I gave Kuya Elon a thumbs up giving him a smile.
Everything went smoothly after that and I was just there copying the files from the Canon 60D footages and playing them around in Premiere.
Reception has come and this time, its a bit of a hassle for me. I couldn’t find a place to continue my editing. It’s a good thing the audio technician asked me to join their place. I then finished everything and I think it’s now cool. I just sat down and waited for them to announce the playing of the onsite video.
The coordinator finally came and asked me to prepare the onsite video to be shown. I then played it and I guess the audience enjoyed it. I was even flattered when the couple themselves told me that the video was great!
