While you are already excited to learn stuffs in video shooting, let us first see some basic lessons in photography. These things are also needed in video shooting so we have to learn them as well. There are four of them and after it, you can now proceed to basic video shooting. You may jump to any lesson you want if you think you already know a certain lesson. I encourage you to do things in sequence however specially if you are still beginning to learn videography.

CAMERA ANGLES
We hear the word angle a lot in our Geometry and Physics class before. And if you hate Math, it might be that you don’t wanna talk about that. Well, don’t worry because it’s not really that hard if we talk about camera angles in photography.
RULES OF COMPOSITION
The first in the rules of composition in photography that I want to share is the rule of thirds. This is achieved by dividing your camera frame into nine equal parts having those imaginary lines in between. It is good to place then the subjects across those imaginary lines.

Video shooting is not just pointing the video camera to anyone or anything and just pressing the record button to capture things. Video shooting is an art and therefore you need to learn how to do it properly. Let me walk you through video shooting tips that you can learn.

VIDEO SHOOTING with DSLR
Digital Single Lens Reflect cameras or what we basically know as DSLRs are typically used for photography and not for videography. Not until about 2009 and 2010 came and the popularity of DSLRs in video production also arose. Many professional videographers were shooting video with DSLR because of its advantages in taking videos compared to camcorders.
